Entry model into the “Esh-Class” - utilizes finest woods, high-quality hardware and absolutely masterful building techniques on a simple, straight-line design, based on the successful Esh designs from the 1990s. Available in 4 or 5 string configurations.

All Esh designs include the innovative, patented Ultra-Contact neck pocket design, which combines a neck-thru design and a bolt-on design...an Esh Exclusive!! This special manner of processing increases the internal oscillation energy of the instrument and combines the best of both neck construction worlds: immediate attack and at the same time unusually long sustain. Because of the high expenditure of this procedure it is used only by Esh and very few other manufacturers.

Also, all Esh basses use the special Esh-tronic pick-up system. All basses have active pick-ups and Piezo as standard. Esh- tronic works as your command switch between 4 different pick up settings-

For studio use, there is a direct out to bypass all the electronics- the PU signal goes directly to the amp
Magnetic Pick ups only ( in combination with the toggle switch knob you can set it as a preset)
Magnetic and Piezo Pick ups: combine the “best of both worlds” !
PIEZO ONLY! This is an unbelievable deep sound- precise and intense. A piezo crystal is used for each string for maximum bass and incredible tone. Forget everything that you may have been told about “thin Piezo sound”. THIS IS THE REAL THING !!!!

The pick-up system is powered by one 9 volt battery. If you were to play 8 hours a day the battery would still last you a year due to the tiny amount of energy that it uses. It is clear that Esh basses are at the cutting edge of sound and design!

All Esh Basses are built in a custom shop style, and can be built to your specifications. You can choose between a wide range of high quality woods, solid tops, inlays, paint designs, pick-ups, and any bass can be made fretless at no extra cost!
